Well, our kids are living together for the next 7 weeks.....I don't know about all of you, but this is a huge adjustment for me as a parent and would love to hear from you and how you're doing......kind of a parent support group....After hearing from Patrick for the first time since he left I'm no longer worried about him....only proud! Hope all is well with all of you....my thoughts are with you and Company Zulu 181.....

ReplyDeleteDevin told me about your son right after they met. He (and I) both love the Irish name. (My maiden name is very Irish) I'm glad to hear that Patrick is doing well. I hope that's true for all of the guys/ girls in Z181. They should be doing their first post on the blog today so make sure you look for it. 2-ish more weeks until we find out our first stations!

ReplyDeleteI know as a mom I miss Patrick something horrible. Haven't been away from him in 20 years!! Though, I'm not worried about him anymore. Just proud.....talk again soon.

Hi there. My daughter Erika is in Z181 with your son. I have gotten two letters from her and it makes me feel better to hear her determination and humor havent waned. I just made reservations for a bed and breakfast for graduation. I had no idea how high dollarthe hotels around there are. The lady that took my reservation gave a discount becasue I was coming for graduation. She said everyone ther is so prouid of the recruits at the camp. I am glad I looked now!
